Accuracy and sources

• We base tax, economic and regulatory facts on primary sources wherever possible: the IRS, the Federal Reserve, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Small Business Administration and other official bodies.
• When we cite reporting from news organizations, we link to the original article and summarize it in our own words. We do not copy or republish other publishers’ articles, photos or videos.
• News briefs end with a Sources list so readers can check every claim.
• Worked examples use simple, clearly labeled illustrative numbers.

How we write

Our content is written and edited by the Fyscale team with the help of AI writing tools. A human-defined process sets the topics, sources and standards, and figures are checked against official sources before publication. We aim for plain English, practical steps and no hype.

Independence and products
